Greenville, SC will capture your heart. It's hard to describe our beautiful Greenville in a few words. From State Parks, to Falls Park, to the Greenville zoo and to the many well recognized farm-to-table restaurants and museums, Greenville is the perfect place to explore. And if our active community (and pet-friendly everything) wasn't enough, we have the perfect triathlon training playground, especially when it comes to cycling.

The focus of this advanced camp is to intentionally overload the body with a good (healthy) amount of training stress to prepare for a hilly late season half or full Ironman (ex. IM Chatty, IMWI, IMKY, IM Kona, IM AZ, etc. ). Athletes who attend our camp should be extremely fit, healthy and strong with good bike handling skills for climbing and descending.
With an endurance theme to this late-summer camp, expect to train a lot. We will place a great amount of training stress on your body but in a smart and practical way, with a lot of guidance and education to ensure you are training smart and absorbing stress properly. You will be covering a lot of swim/bike/run miles over 4.5 days but we will touch on skills, technique, form, pacing, sport nutrition and mental strength. You will be challenged and your body and mind will be uncomfortable during this unforgettable 4.5 day camp experience in Greenville, SC but you will leave camp as a stronger, more confident and more skillful endurance triathlete.
Our camp offers full SAG support, all-day access to two experienced triathlon coaches, well-mapped training routes, guidelines for sport nutrition for every workout, long course pool and open water lake swimming, hilly bike courses (rollers and mountains), hill and trail running and lots of time on your bike.
We invite you to take advantage of this group training environment where every athlete will feel challenged but the other athletes will bring out the best in you. Leave your normal stressors of life behind you as you train, eat, relax, sleep and have a lot of fun at the 2018 Trimarni Greenville advanced endurance camp.
Athletes will need at least 4-5 days to recover from this camp so make sure this camp is well-timed in your racing schedule.

Swamp Rabbit Inn TR
Socialize, eat, relax and connect with your fellow campers at the Swamp Rabbit Inn in TR. Within walking distance to downtown Traveler's Rest and right across the street from the GHS Swamp Rabbit trail, campers will not want to leave this updated cottage.
There are five lodging options at the Swamp Rabbit Inn TR (cottage, studio, coach house, main house and RV pad). The main house has a kitchen for group cooking (and eating) and several of the private units have small kitchenettes. You can find several Kuerig machines for morning (and post-workout) coffee consumption, ample space to spread out and relax, a TV in your room, free WiFi, a grill and yes, a pool!

When should I plan to arrive/depart?
We suggest to book your travel so that you arrive by late afternoon on Wednesday August 8th, 2018. We suggest to depart on Sunday late evening (August 12th) or Monday morning (August 13th). The team cottage is booked August 8th - August 13th. Check-in is at 3pm on the 8th and check-out is 10am on August 13th.
Are meals included in my camp payment?
Campers will provide and share groceries in the team house. For our past camps, one person was the designated grocery "buyer" and then the total costs were divided among those staying in the house. Seeing that our campers eat similar snacks/meals, sharing food cuts down on the cost of food and makes eating time a much more fun experience.
The local grocery store (Publix) is less than 10 minutes away. There is also a Super Wal-Mart close by and a Farmers Market (Tomato Vine).
There are many restaurants within walking distance of the cottage.
Do you cater to dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Just let us know your food allergies/intolerances and we will be sure to find you a replacement option for our team dinner and for any snacks that are provided during workouts.
How should I get my bike to camp?
If you are not planning to drive with your bike, we suggest to either fly with your bike or use Bike Flights to ship your bike. If you are considering using Bike Flights, please contact us.
If you are flying with your bike (or shipping your bike), you do not need to bring your bike pump as we will have plenty available.
Do I need to bring a wetsuit?
Nope. The lake water will be very comfortable for our open water swim.
I'm nervous about your terrain, I heard it is hilly!
Yes, our terrain is challenging, specifically for cycling. If our terrain worries you, this camp is not ideal for you.
What's the difference between the All Fitness Levels camp and the Endurance camp?
Both camps are geared for triathletes and we expect you to bring some fitness to camp. However, the training load at the endurance camp is significantly greater than our all fitness levels camp. While it is ok if you are not a strong swimmer or runner, our endurance camp is very cycling focused. We expect you to be able to ride for 4+ hours in hilly conditions to tolerate the training at this camp. We have strategically placed this camp near the end of the summer so that you can accumulate a great amount of training throughout the summer in order to be ready for this camp. We hope that the endurance camp boosts your fitness and confidence before your late season half or full distance Ironman. This camp will be extremely challenging and will test your limits. If this excites you, the advanced camp is likely a good fit for you. Reach out to us to see if the endurance camp is the right fit.
What if I get injured before the camp but I’ve already registered?
Please review our cancellation policy ahead of time in the case of an injury. We do not advise that you come to this camp with an injury or if you are just getting over an injury or sickness. Please arrive to this camp healthy, rested and somewhat fresh.

I am not a Trimarni coaching athlete, can I still attend?
Absolutely! We would love to have you at camp if you feel this camp is the right fit for you. Our advanced camp is also great for non-Trimarni athletes who have a "training camp" listed on their training plan from another coach. Let us provide the routes and the workouts and all you have to do is show up!
