Excel Coaching Plan
The ultimate goal of any coaching service is for the athlete to reach performance goals without compromising health. The EXCEL athlete receives a 100% personalized program that is periodized based on your key races and goals. Because we will play an integral part in your life over the next year, a trusting and strong relationship with our EXCEL athletes is essential.
No element is overlooked for the EXCEL athlete, such as daily and sport nutrition, stretching, periodized strength training, race day prep and execution, gear selection, motivation and recovery. Our ultimate goal is to keep you balanced in life and healthy as you train hard for your personal season goals.
Our EXCEL program is designed for athletes of all levels but endurance triathletes may benefit the most from the EXCEL program as there are many details to focus on when it comes to training for a long distance races. We are very experienced in coaching long distance triathletes who want to experience the best fitness possible with the least amount of training stress.
With many unlimited and discounted services, the EXCEL coaching athlete receives an unlimited amount of attention. The EXCEL athlete must be able to commit to our coaching services for 12 months in order for us to better understand your specific, individual needs, your lifestyle priorities (work/family), your time constraints and your strength/weaknesses as an athlete. The EXCEL athlete receives attention and education to every detail that may influence training so constant communication is critical.
Reviewing workouts is critical for athletes to progress smoothly throughout the year but for the EXCEL athlete to receive the full benefits of this coaching service, we require you to have a bike power meter and GPS/HR device so that we can provide you with detailed feedback of your workouts. The EXCEL athlete will also receive specific power zones and paces for all workouts to take the guessing away from training. The EXCEL athlete will feel as if she/he is being watched by her/his coaches all of the time. The EXCEL athlete will receive a tremendous amount of education in order to take fitness to the next level. The EXCEL athlete will also receive specific pacing and nutrition guidelines/suggestions for all races.
We will take the time to help plan out your racing season (around your A-races) so you can peak appropriately.
We encourage a long-term relationship with the EXCEL athlete as we want to see you reach your full potential, overtime.
