We emphasize a real food diet and our coaching philosophy is simple: Train hard, recover harder. No junk miles but instead, respect for your amazing body.  After spending much of my adult life learning about the physiology of the body during exercise, as well as working as a clinical dietitian and coach, I have had great success in helping individuals of all ages and fitness abilities learn how to develop a healthy relationship with food. More so, with new "food" freedom and trust in the daily diet, I have helped athletes (and fitness enthusiasts) learn to eat in a way that maximizes performance as well as reduces risk for injury/illness. With a basic understanding of your individual needs, you will quickly find yourself recovering faster after workouts, encouraging gains in lean muscle mass and eliminating "sports nutrition" fears when it comes to eating before, during and after workouts and racing.

What can I expect in the Lifestyle Nutrition Consultation?

  • One-time payment. We will work together for a maximum of 45 days, focusing on the daily diet.
  • After you purchase the consultation, you will be emailed a nutrition consultation questionnaire form to complete in detail for my review. Please complete online via Word document as no handwritten documents will be accepted.
  • Based on your specific needs and goals, you will be asked to complete up to 4 x 3 day lifestyle logs (provided to you) specific to your workout and eating routine. Every 3-day log that you complete will take place on consecutive days, however I will not be focusing on the same 3 days every week. One week we may focus on your eating from Mon-Wed and another week we may focus on your eating Friday – Sunday.  I keep the log format simple and my communication detailed. I want you to spend your energy making practical changes with my suggestions and not spending your precious time logging food and counting calories. 
  • After every 3-day log that you send, I will review your logs and provide detailed feedback via email, Skype/Facetime or phone. My focus is helping you move closer to your performance, health and body composition goals. The reason why I ask you to complete 4 logs within 45 days is because I want to give you time to work on a few of my suggestions. I never want you to feel as if you are changing too much all at once. I also do not want our time together to stretch out beyond 1.5 months as I have learned that athletes do the best when they are given a specific time-frame with a deadline because it allows you to make changes that are realistic and practical at that moment in your life. Although our consultation time together may end after 45-days, I am confident that you will develop new habits and experience positive changes in your eating routine after our time together is complete and will understand how to continue making changes on your own.  If you still need more help after 45 days, we can certainly continue to work together. I never want you to feel alone in your nutrition journey and I understand that some athletes need just a little bit of tweaking and some athletes need more time or have a lot of changes to be make. I feel that 45-days is an appropriate amount of time for us to work together in order to focus specifically on the diet so that I can help you reach your performance, health and/or body composition goals.  
  • I don't believe in meal plans or diet fads. I treat every athlete as an individual and I want to understand your individual dietary concerns, needs, goals as well as allergies, intolerances and habits. If you are ready to work with a RD who specializes in sports and spend a little time focusing on your diet, the timing of food around workouts and understanding how to eat in certain situations (ex. events, traveling, etc.), then the lifestyle nutrition consultation is perfect for you
