FAQS

When should I plan to arrive/depart?

We suggest to book your travel so that you arrive by late afternoon on Wednesday March 21st, 2018. We suggest to depart on Sunday late evening (March 25th) or Monday morning (March 26th). The team house is booked March 21st - March 26th. Check-in is at 3pm on the 21st and check-out is 10am on 26th.

Are meals included in my camp payment?

Campers will provide and share groceries in the team house. For our past camps, one person was the designated grocery "buyer" and then the total costs were divided among those staying in the house. Seeing that our campers eat similar snacks/meals, sharing food cuts down on the cost of food and makes eating time a much more fun experience.
The local grocery store (Publix) is less than 10 minutes away. There is also a Super Wal-Mart close by and a Farmers Market (Tomato Vine).

Do you cater to dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. Just let us know your food allergies/intolerances and we will be sure to find you a replacement option for our team dinner and for any snacks that are provided during workouts.

How should I get my bike to camp?

If you are not planning to drive with your bike, we suggest to either fly with your bike or use Bike Flights to ship your bike. If you are considering using Bike Flights, please contact us after you reserve your spot at camp for more details.
If you are flying with your bike (or shipping your bike), you do not need to bring your bike pump as we will have plenty available.

Will it be cold?

We don't expect freezing temperatures but average temperatures range from 40's (low) to 70's (high). We will adjust our schedule accordingly based on weather but we expect cool conditions to start all outdoor workouts with perfect temperatures for outdoor training as the day goes on. Please bring a variety of clothing for all types of outdoor training. Check weather ahead of time with zip code 29617.

I'm nervous about your terrain, I heard it is hilly!

Yes, our terrain is challenging, specifically for cycling. We will be working on your cycling skills while you are at camp (including climbing and descending). We will make sure you are safe throughout camp and leave with improved cycling fitness and confidence.

What if I can't keep up with everyone?

We understand that everyone will be at different levels of fitness and that is why we advertise as an all level fitness camp. No one is too fast or too slow. We will never let any athlete get dropped or feel excluded. We have perfectly designed workouts to cater to the needs of everyone at camp.

What if I get injured before the camp but I’ve already registered?

Please review our cancellation policy ahead of time in the case of an injury. If you still plan on attending camp with a recent injury, we will do our best to modify workouts so that you can get the most out of your camp experience. We will not let you feel excluded and we will not make you train through an injury.

What if I am not fit enough for this camp?

We don't expect you to be in peak fitness. We ask that you arrive to camp with a good level of fitness so that you can absorb the training stress that you will experience at camp. We will give you the right amount of training so that you feel fitter and stronger by the end of the camp but not destroyed or heavily exhausted.

I am not a Trimarni coaching athlete, can I still attend?

Absolutely! We would love to have you at camp.
