Coaching for Performance. Built Around You.

Train With Purpose. Race With Confidence.

At Trimarni, we believe great coaching starts with understanding the person behind the athlete. Your training needs to fit your life, your goals, your experience, and the demands that exist outside of sport. We don't believe in cookie-cutter training plans or coaching athletes toward a single definition of success. Instead, we work closely with each athlete to develop a thoughtful, individualized approach that builds fitness, confidence, durability, and performance while protecting the health and enjoyment that make endurance sport worth pursuing.

Our coaching goes far beyond assigning workouts. We combine decades of experience in endurance sport, exercise physiology, sports nutrition, cycling, strength training, race strategy, and athlete development to help you navigate the entire process—from building your foundation and developing your weaknesses to preparing for race day and adapting when life doesn't go according to plan. Whether you're training for your first triathlon, chasing a personal best, preparing for an Ironman or World Championship, or exploring trail, gravel, mountain biking, or extreme endurance events, our goal is the same: to help you become a stronger, healthier, more capable athlete while creating a training process that is sustainable for the long term.

We coach the individual, not just the sport. And we're here to help you train for performance while still living a full life outside of training.

What You Can Expect From Trimarni Coaching

Personalized Training — Your training plan is built around your goals, experience, schedule, strengths, weaknesses, and life. We don't believe in basic training plans. Your training evolves as you do.

Ongoing Coach Support — Coaching doesn't stop when your workout is uploaded. We provide regular communication, workout feedback, adjustments, accountability, and problem-solving throughout your season. When life, work, travel, illness, injury, or unexpected challenges change the plan, we adapt with you.

Performance + Health — We believe you shouldn't have to sacrifice your health to become a better athlete. Training is designed to improve performance while prioritizing recovery, durability, appropriate fueling, and long-term mental and physical health.

Nutrition Support — Nutrition is part of training, not an afterthought. You'll receive general guidance around daily nutrition, training fuel, hydration, recovery, and race-day nutrition so you can learn how to fuel your body with confidence.

Race Preparation — We help you prepare for the race you're actually going to do. From course-specific tips to post-race feedback, we want you to arrive at the start line feeling healthy, prepared and confident.

Bike Fit + Cycling Support — Your bike should work for you. From professional bike fitting and position optimization to questions about equipment, setup, comfort, and cycling-specific concerns, we provide guidance to help you ride more comfortably, efficiently, and confidently.

The Whole Athlete — Endurance performance is about more than swim, bike, and run. We consider strength, recovery, mental resilience, lifestyle, nutrition, and the many factors that influence your ability to train and perform. Our goal is to help you become a stronger, healthier, more capable athlete as you work towards your next finish line.

Why Do I Need to Apply for Coaching?

Choosing a coach is an important decision, and we believe coaching should be a good fit for both the athlete and the coach.

Before we begin working together, we ask every new athlete to complete a coaching application so we can learn more about you—your goals, experience, training history, schedule, strengths, challenges, and what you're looking for from a coach. This gives us the opportunity to understand where you are today and what you hope to accomplish.

Our coaching is highly individualized, and we don't believe that one coaching approach is right for every athlete. The application helps us determine whether our coaching philosophy, communication style, experience, and approach align with what you need. It also gives you an opportunity to learn more about how we coach and consider whether Trimarni feels like the right fit for you.

We want to build long-term coaching relationships with athletes who value the process as much as the outcome. Sometimes that means recognizing that another coach, program, or approach may be a better fit—and we're okay with that. Our goal isn't to coach every athlete who applies. It's to work with athletes who we believe we can genuinely help and who feel confident that we're the right coaches for them.

If you missed the application period, no need to worry. Send us an email to see if we have any openings.
